Generator Protection Unit – GPU-2

The GPU-2 is a very flexible generator and grid protection unit for wind turbines. The GPU-2 contains all functions necessary to protect a synchronous/asynchronous generator. It is normally controlled by means of a PLC or traditional relay logics. All measured and calculated values such as voltage, current, power, etc. can be read out via CANbus, Modbus or Profibus.
