Recently, the Danish PM, Mr Anders Fogh Rasmussen, briefly met with two senior representatives for DEIF’s subsidiary in Shanghai.
The meeting followed the PM’s recent launch of a Danish government action plan for increased cooperation between Denmark and China.
Mr. Rasmussen expressed his support for DEIF’s activities in the Chinese market for wind energy, among other areas.
The Danish government initiative includes an ambitious programme for renewable energy.
The presentation of the action plan took place 20 October in Shanghai. The last time the PM discussed Denmark’s contribution to a more sustainable global development with decision makers from DEIF was in February during an energy conference in New Delhi. DEIF’s experience within renewable energy solutions is relevant to Denmark’s preparations for the UN climate conference COP15 in December 2009 in Copenhagen.
