The DEIF Wind Power Technology staff holds great expertise in the use of The MathWorks MATLAB® and Simulink® and apply the tools extensively in the design process. Moreover, we have developed a complete wind turbine simulator that can be utilised for both training and development of software solutions.   Therefore, DEIF’s wind turbine engineers also master competences within the area of aerodynamic load calculations.

Part of our concept is to understand the complete design of the turbines. They know how the design of the wind turbine tower and turbine blades affects the load calculations we base our control system solutions on. Their knowledge enables us to create power control systems that are as safe and reliable as possible.
